Healthcare– EVERY AMERICAN SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE. This is something that should be so obvious, why is it not the case? The United States is the wealthiest country in the world ten times over, yet we are the only industrialized nation that does not have health care provided for all citizens. In a recent USA Today study, exactly half of Americans are having trouble paying for health costs, and only half of those are uninsured. This should be the single most prominent message for the Democratic Party, that we are the party that wants to tackle this problem.

We have to stand for fairness and quality in our health care system. And we have to make clear that if we are committed to the quality of life of our people here in the United States of America, there is nothing more important than ensuring that we provide quality, affordable health care for every single American.
