Election Reform– The United States election system is entirely too flawed to actually take place in the wealthiest country in the world. There are many laws that must be passed to ensure the fairness that is essential in a true democracy. State party chairpersons should not also be in charge of a state’s election system (see Ohio 2004). Voting machine distribution must reflect the population in every area, regardless of whether that area has wealthy or poor Americans. The Blue Campaign also believes we need to take a look at corporate and financial influence over America’s elections, and do more to limit this. A candidate’s stance should win elections, not the financial ability to create attack ads. Would it be too much to give candidate’s a set amount of TV time for free? Do you dare to think this boldly?
